2006 Atlantic Coast Underclass Showcase
Dylan Taylor is a 2009 3B/SS/RHP from Severna Park HS in Severna Park, MD with a 5'11", 155 lb. frame. Dylan has a lean athletic build with room to fill out. At the plate Dylan has a tendency to cut under the ball some and looked really nervous at the plate. He will need to work on leveling out his swing plane and work on getting a little more aggressive in the box. In the field Dylan has clean infield actions and stays back on the ball well. Second base might be his best position at this point. On the mound Dylan throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm action. He shows an occasional sharp curve ball and will just need his velocity to come around with age. Dylan looks like a kid that could attract the attention of many smaller colleges throughout the country.
