Cody Norman is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Port Matilda, PA who attends State College Area. Large, athletic frame with a high waist and some present strength, additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, full windup on the mound with quick tempo, pitches with rhythm and can continue to incorporate additional lower half into drive. Works to a three-quarters release point, opens with front shoulder early at times, fastball topped out at 82 mph and shows quickness to arm, tools to improve upon moving forward. Curveball shows short depth with 12-6 shape up to 65 mph and provided a change of speed against hitters. Left-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate with a spread and even stance. Longer swing path through the zone and gets the barrel out front on time. Projects well with added strength, consistently extended at the point of contact and creates separation, shows present bat speed. Excellent student.
