2023 Fall Atlantic Coast Workout Showcase
Brett Kutner is a 2025 1B/OF with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Leesville Road. Large frame with present strength and emerging overall athleticism. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.63 seconds. Primary position 1B, playing well in his legs and presenting the glove out front. Deeper funnel to transition and using short arm action to throw. Arm strength plays well here as he made accurate feeds up to 80 mph across the diamond. Showed comfort around the bag. Secondary OF, working methodically to the ball and using fuller arm path here with throws up to 82 mph. LHH starting with an even stance, well balanced in his base. Tight handset and big turn in as pitch comes to the plate to load. Rotational operation causing him to run out of barrel at times but plenty of strength at impact. When on time and using good rhythm in the middle of the field the ball got off his barrel well. Left handed power projection. Outstanding student as well.
