2006 Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Travis Pearson is a 2007 LHP that attends Downington HS and resides in Downingtown, PA with a 6'2", 215 lb. frame. Travis has a strong thick build and showed a nice feel for pitching. He shows a 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm action. Travis has a live arm and is able to get nice run on his fastball. His change-up is his best pitch but he has a good feel for all three of his primary pitchers. Travis opens up a little early in his delivery and could maybe add some more velocity if he finished square to the plate. He should attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.
