Mason Teal is a 2026 C/UT with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Kannapolis, NC who attends A L Brown HS. Long and athletic build with some present strength and more to come, very projectable physically. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low and has quick lower half actions, athletic out of his crouch, low and deep exchange on his throws, clean arm action that projects well. Also worked out in the infield, tends to get his glove down late and has a deep funnel, easy clean arm action and creates some carry on his throws, solid actions and tools for third base. Right handed hitter, hits from an even and narrow start, simple and repeatable swing mechanics, hands are short and direct to the ball, barrel stays on plane for a long time, barreled balls up hard to both alleys with good strength at impact. Excellent student. Named to the Virginia Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
