Wooderson is a 6-5, 195 lb 2006 first baseman who is also a good pitching prospect. Wooderson has a nice projectable baseball body. Wooderson showed good arm strength throwing 81 from 1st base and 85 off the mound. At the plate, Wooderson handles the bat well and has a powerful stroke. Wooderson has a nice quick swing with strong hands. Wooderson flashed some real good bat speed and bat control. Wooderson throws the ball well off the mound. Wooderson has a nice demeanor on the mound and is unafraid to throw inside. He throws with short quick arm action with solid command of his pitches. Wooderson is a solid prospect.
