Jeremiah Aker is a 2007 1B/3B/OF with a 6'3'', 205 lb. frame from Loveland OH, who attends Milford HS. He has a good athletic frame and a strong build. Aker ran 7.37 and threw 78 mph from the outfield and 74 mph from first base. He showed good agility at first base with good footwork and this is likely his best position in the future. Aker hits from an open stance with a busy hand load and a high leg kick to start his swing. He lays his bat back flat behind him and takes an aggressive upper cut swing looking to pull and lift the ball. He showed some loft pull power during batting practice but may have to shorten up his all or nothing approach in games against better pitching. Aker is a very good student.
