TJ Parthemer is a 2008 LHP/OF/1B with a 6'2'', 180 lb. frame from Issaquah, WA, who attends Eastside Catholic HS. Parthemer has a lean and projectable body. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a nice arm stroke. He has a low effort and smooth delivery that allows him to stay balanced over the rubber. Parthemer has arm speed that helps produce an 84 mph fastball. He throws a sharp curveball with downer action that will be an out pitch for him at the next level. Parthemer also mixes in a 73 mph change-up with sinking action. The feel for his secondary pitches and his projectable velocity give him great upside on the mound. At the plate he is a left handed hitter with a nice, short swing. He has bat speed through the hitting, and he is short to the ball. Parthemer has projectable power, and he has a good eye. He is a two-way prospect, and is a good student.
