Noah Merrifield is a 2026 RHP/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Dardenne Prairie, MO who attends Christian Brothers College. Works from a larger, sturdy frame with some strength present throughout and physical projection remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch with a bigger leg lift up above the belt. Moved out and around as he worked down the slope, creating some extension before releasing the baseball from a high three-quarters arm slot. Utilizes a longer takeaway through the back and creates some arm speed into release. Fastball showed cut and ultimately peaked at 84 mph with spin up to 2051 rpm. Changeup killed tons of spin and showed good arm-side depth; slows his mechanics up a bit when throwing it. Mixed in a slurvy breaking ball that showed tight 10-4 shape; has the ability to land it for strikes both early and late in counts. Secondary third baseman, displayed smooth actions with a clean funnel process as he worked through the baseball. Can adjust slots and deliver accurate throws across the diamond. Recorded arm strength up to 80 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even base with a loose low-hand set-up. Utilizes a simple lift and replace trigger for timing before working into an on-plane stroke. Creates some strength at impact when timed up. Gets the barrel through the zone a bit late. Has the ability to work the entire field. Ran a 7.43 sixty-yard dash. Great student.
