Felix Agosto is a 2007 C/3B/OF with a 5'10'', 225 lb. frame from Cidra PR, who attends PR Baseball Academy HS. He has a stocky, square build with very good present strength. Agosto threw 1.92 during catching drills with 74 mph velocity. He has compact actions behind the plate and his throws were very accurate. Maintaining quickness with his body type will be a constant challenge for Agosto. Offensively, Agosto hit the ball very well in game action after maybe trying too hard during batting practice. He hit one game home run that showed his raw power and was consistently aggressive attacking pitches and squaring up on the ball. He has a good fundamental swing, keeping his hands inside the ball and staying on line and leveraged at contact. Agosto is also a good student.
