Patrick Diaz is a 2026 3B/1B with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends St Raymond High School for Boys. Big and strong athletic build, stands out physically. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow straight stance, has a very simple and repeatable timer and trigger, turns his hips well and uses his strong lower half, swing is notably short and direct for his size and strength and has plenty of adjustability, more power there as he learns to get more extension through contact, has a ceiling as a hitter. 7.74 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, is light on his feet for his size and works through the ball well, has rhythm in his actions, gets his glove in good position to field the ball, plenty of arm strength across the diamond and makes accurate throws. Excellent student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
