David Gutierrez -- Gutierrez is a long and lean junior outfielder from Miami. He has a good fundamental swing and nice balance at the plate that leads to consistent contact. Gutierrez just lacks the strength right now to generate the bat speed with wood. He does hit it hardest when he’s pulling the ball. We would think he's an extra good hitter with metal. Gutierrez has good accurate arm strength from the outfield and playable speed and range for the corners. On the mound he showed very good arm action and balance. David is a good student.
