High School Top 50: April 9

As we start inching towards the playoffs in some states and others just a few weeks into their season, we have another update with some big movers both up and down. Catholic (LA) holds onto the top spot after another dominant two week stretch, including seven run rules. Flower Mound (TX) jumps from No. 10 to No. 5 after a dominant month of play including a win over Argyle. Both Parkview (GA) and Archbishop Moeller (OH) also jump inside the top-10 after impressive wins. There are big movers across the board outside of the top-10 as well.

Central-Phenix (AL) jumps 14 spots from No. 30 to No. 16 after a 27-1 start to the year. Trinity Christian (FL) heads into NHSI as a top-15 team in the country, boasting a 16-1 record with a victory over Lowndes. Tomball (TX) jumps inside the top-30 after rattling off 11 straight victories, en route to a 21-3 overall record on the year. Both Etowah (GA) and Pensacola Catholic (FL) jumps double digit spots into the high-30s as well.

We have seven new names added to the rankings as well with Calvary Christian (FL) debuting at the No. 37 spot after a 15-1 start to the year. North Cobb Christian (GA), Nazareth Academy (IL), Malvern Prep (PA), Granada (CA), Starr’s Mill (GA), and Carmel (IN) all find themselves towards the back end of the top-50 after dominant seasons so far.
