CEDAR RAPIDS, IA. (September 8, 2008) – Perfect Game USA is proud to announce the winners at the third annual Chuck Fulton Memorial Home Run Derby at Veterans Memorial Stadium held Saturday, September 6. Over 100 youngsters participated in the derby held in memory of Chuck Fulton, longtime Cedar Rapids baseball supporter, and was free to boys and girls ages 12 and under.
Along with Perfect Game, the derby was sponsored by the Strellner Agency of Life Investors, Rawlings and the Cedar Rapids Kernels. Support for the Home Run Derby is also provided by Metro Studios, Lucky Awards and Velocity Sports Performance.
Awards were presented for the most home runs and longest home run in each age group. Winners were:
