Alexander Slaunwhite is a 2027 2B/SS with a 5-4 118 lb. frame from Chester, NS. Slaunwhite works from a young, still maturing frame with lots of physical development remaining. As a primary IF, worked through the ball well with a compact arm action displayed. Consistently released from a lower slot across the diamond up to 68 mph. Can get the glove down a bit earlier but overall flashed projectable glove actions with feel for the position. Offensively, the left handed hitter started from a slightly open base with a high compact hand set. Swung with intent to generate impact out in front with developing strength in the hands. Young bat speed present with harder impact coming as the frame fills out. Posted an exit velo of 69 mph. Ran a 8.09 sixty yard dash.
