Perfect Game Summer Collegiate Page
Summer League Showcase
From the Cape Cod League to the Southern California Collegiate League, no one covers the nation’s summer college leagues as thoroughly, or with more passion, than Perfect Game. We’ve already kicked off our recap of the 2013 season with our final ranking of the Top 50 Teams, led by the Texas Collegiate League’s Brazos Valley Bombers, and we’ve identified Kennesaw State catcher Max Pentecost (Bourne Braves / Cape Cod) as our summer league player of the year.
Starting on Monday, we’ll present our annual summer college All-America team followed by a recap of USA Baseball’s college national team with a ranking of the squad’s Top 20 Prospects, along with scouting profiles on the players. After that we’ll begin our exhaustive coverage of identifying the top pro-level prospects in more than 25 summer leagues around the country—or more than 600 prospects in all. As noted on the list below, we’ll unveil the raw lists of the top prospects in each league initially (FREE content), then follow with more complete scouting profiles on the players as part of our general league recap (INSIDER content).
Leagues are ranked on the basis of a combination of high-end talent and depth of potential pro-level talent, as determined from first-hand observation, and contact with scouts and league coaches.
