Event Information
The highlight of the Alabama State Games is its scholarship initiative.

Athletes who register for the Alabama State Games and attend the Opening Ceremony (both events are free and open to the public) are entered into a scholarship drawing. At the end of the evening, the festivities will conclude by announcing several winners. During Alabama State Games 40 & 41 (in 2023 and 2024, respectively), just over $80,000 in scholarships has been awarded to athletes across Alabama. Since the scholarship initiative was created, the ASF Foundation—the Alabama State Games parent nonprofit—has awarded 613 scholarships totaling nearly $416,000. These scholarships can be used at any two-year, four-year, trade, or technical school and are awarded to athletes of all ages.

PERFECT GAME HISTORY
The Perfect Game network began in 1993 with a vision from former scout and college coach Jerry Ford.
That vision was simple: "To give young players the best opportunity for success, to help scouts and recruiters
see and evaluate these players, and to promote the game of baseball at all levels".

Perfect Game has been hosting elite amateur events all over the country since 1997.
Talk about credibility and reputation.
