Nikhil Bhavnani is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Poly Prep Country Day. Bhavnani works from a lean projectable build with time to add strength and fill out as a '27 prospect. As a primary OF, created direct routes to the baseball with urgency displayed through release. Repeated a compact arm action well, ultimately topping out at 81 mph. Should continue to develop nicely and expected to see arm strength tick up in the future. On the mound, showcased a slower paced, controlled operation starting from the 1B side of the rubber. Utilized a belt high leg lift and released from a consistent 3/4 slot with the FB up to 76 mph. Could work into the lower half a bit more and create additional drive down the mound. Tunneled pitches effectively with developing spin on 11-5 shaped breaker up to 1784 rpm. Solid upside remaining in frame. On the offensive end, the righty started from a narrow slightly open base with a high hand set and high back elbow. He flashed a lower leg lift trigger into impact with the ability to work all parts of the field for contact. Displayed line drive tendencies in the stroke, posting an exit velo of 85 mph. Ran a 7.54 sixty yard dash.
