Garrett Jacobs is a 2026 RHP/SS with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Manhattan Beach, CA who attends Mira Costa. Features a lean, athletic, projectable frame with room to add. Ran a 6.93 sixty yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher, four pitch mix that includes fastball, curveball, slider and changeup. Athletic on the bump with a slight crossfire delivery and good extension and finishes in line with the plate. Breaking ball has a slurvey look, staying firm with sweep and can spin it (2600+ RPM). Changeup is deceptive out of the hand with late fade. Secondary shortstop with a clean glove and solid, compact exchanges. Medium base at the plate with a high back elbow and short stride to contact. Takes a direct path with an up the middle approach and stays compact. Named to the 2024 Fall Top Prospect National Showcase Top Performer List. Good Student.
