Aiden Salinas is a 2027 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends London. Physically advanced beyond his years, lean and lengthy frames with strength all over the body that will continue to get stronger. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, huge arm across with controlled intent, very comfortable with the glove and can work it to both sides, extremely athletic charge and throw on the move, body coordination and mechanics stand out for the class. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup from the third base side of the rubber, overhead delivery that is smooth and in sync, dropped the slot on a nasty two seamer and keeps it down there when throwing the slider, working to find consistent control of the zone, flashed one curveball in the mix, promising traits overall but needs refinement. Took reps in the outfield, developing overall actions to translate in game but lets the arm work from here, big crow hop into explosive throws that get to the bag in a hurry, explosive arm talent with room for more. Right-handed hitter, medium knee lift trigger, hands at shoulder then creates some late separation, rocks back some to generate in the legs and backside, fires hard with intent, has the bat speed, carries well into the gaps. Looked sharp in game action at every spot with athleticism that translates into every action on the field. Miami commit. Named to the 2023 14U Texas All-State Games Top Prospect List.
