Caden Ferraro is a 2023 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Pearland. Solid two-way player. On the mound, showed whippy arm action with solid pitchability. Throws from a higher slot with solid command and repeats the delivery well. His fastball was up to 84 and commanded the pitch well. Paired it with a loose curveball that had solid depth and was mostly 1/7 with occasional bite. The changeup was firm but effective and was up to 79. Shows solid mound composure. Over the top arm action in the outfield and has sound actions defensively. In the box, shows solid feel for the barrel with a lot of strength. Natural barrel loft and gets impressive backspin on balls. Power over hit presently and power plays to all fields. His highest exit velocity was 86 MPH. Ferraro was named to the South Top Prospect Games' Top Prospect List.
