Tyler Carlson is a 2027 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Savage, MN who attends Prior Lake. Larger, athletic build with plenty of room and time to add more strength. Primary outfielder, stays light and quick on his feet as he works through the baseball. Separates into a shorter arm path and pulls down hard into release. Kept his throws low and online while recording arm strength up to 78 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a low-effort operation with a shorter arm path and three-quarters release. Remains balanced and inline as he carries his momentum downhill. Fastball peaked at 75 mph and worked both parts of the plate. Mixed in a traditional curveball with some depth to it and a fading changeup. Projects for an uptick in velocity with additional strength. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wide stance with a high back elbow and high hand set-up. Utilizes a simple stride for timing before working into a line drive stroke. Gets his lower-half through well with good extension and leverage generated at impact. Impacts the baseball with easy strength when timed up. Displayed consistent barrel skills with intriguing power potential. Posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran a 7.18 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
