Alexander Marquez is a 2012 C/OF with a 5'11'', 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Sunset HS. Compact build, good present strength. Quick actions defensively, solid footwork, throws carry well for age, accurate, 2.00 best pop time. Runs well for young catcher, 7.37. Solid approach hitting, good balance, gets loaded, some raw bat speed, tends to get long at times and hit around ball, good hitting foundation to build on. Excellent student.
