Garrett Zech is a 2015 OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Naples HS. Strong well proportioned athletic build, room to get stronger. Very good straight ahead speed, 6.39 in the sixty. Centerfield range in the outfield, circles the ball well, has some arm strength and carry, quick compact arm action can be improved for additional arm strength. Right handed hitter, short hand path to the ball, long extended high finish, rotational upper body swing with limited lower half use, line drive contact, can improve at the plate with adjustments. Very good student, verbal commitment to South Florida.
