Tristan Hanoian is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Costa Mesa, CA who attends Orange Lutheran HS. Short compact build, has some present strength. Very polished defensive player, works through the ball very well with quick and active feet, nice footwork, can throw well from multiple angles, quick double play turns, has very quick and sure hands, showed in games that he has a mature baseball clock timing plays. Left handed hitter, leadoff tools, sees lots of pitches and will work counts, short line drive swing with an inside path, will hit to all fields, hands driven swing. Very aggressive runner on the bases who gets jumps and reads the game. High energy player who is going to overachieve his raw tools. Good student, verbal commitment to TCU.
