Alejandro Guerrero is a 2016 C/2B with a 5-9 198 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, DOM who attends Cenapec. Athletic build on medium frame with good present strength throughout body. Hits with high hand set and even base, wraps the bat a bit to start, shows consistent and repeatable mechanics in the box with a line drive swing plane and good feel for the barrel. Consistent middle to pull-field contact with developing strength off the barrel. Sets up well behind the plate with athleticism and flexibility, receives well with clean exchanges, max effort arm with accuracy that topped out at 76 MPH and popped as low as 1.95. Shows quality defensive awareness and will snap throw back to 1B when the situation calls for it.
