Mason Curley is a 2023 RHP/ with a 6-6 200 lb. frame from Winter Park, FL who attends Lake Howell. Primary right-handed pitcher with a large prototypical build showing length to add strength to down the line. Worked in the stretch only with a leg lift above the belt as the arm works on a shorter track through the back up to a high three-quarters arm slot. The fastball shows some heavy life in the 82-84 mph range while staying on line to the plate with slight drop and drive on the back side with a longer stride down the hill. The breaking ball shows two plane shape with some feel to sequence it off the fastball and get ahead of hitters. Changeup showed as a decent third offering with later depth in the upper 60's. Did a nice job competing in the zone with all three pitches for three innings with some solid projection still in the arsenal. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 National Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
