Kevin Johnson is a 2009 RHP with a 6'2'', 170 lb. frame from Midlothian, IL who attends Mt. Carmel HS. Outstanding athletic build, plus strength. Simple turn and throw delivery, falls off on release, 3/4's angle. Fast arm, tends to throw harder warming up/from stretch with less effort, touched 90 mph, flashed quality CB spin, very good CB velo, slurve type break, developing change up. Power arm with potential steady low 90's in the future. Good student, signed with Illinois.
