Defensively, working at the short stop position, Beck showed an average arm and good footwork. She demonstrated a smooth transition when fielding the ball up the middle and made accurate, strong throws. As Beck continues to work her glove mechanics, she will be a solid defensive player.
Offensively, Jocelyn is a right-handed hitter who sets up with a solid base. She does a great job working her hands inside the ball. She has a quick bat and shoots line drives to all fields. She also has quick footspeed on the bases to stretch her hits into doubles.
