Warren Haudek is a 2025 C/RHP/3B/SS/OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Cypress Christian. Solid build young athlete is a versatile player showing great potential ahead of him if he continues to build on the impressive athleticism and maturity in his skill set. He posted a 7.42 in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, starts staggered but fits the part behind the plate physically with room to polish some catching fundamentals. His actions are quick overall showing smooth hands, a strong arm and some good short burst getting into position to throw. There are some moving pieces like his footwork, the longer arm actions and flexibility in the lower half, but he is a fine enough athlete to make it work for now. In the outfield, he moves around very well playing the field with some bounce. He can play tall but will make the glove work and plays through it well covering solid ground quickly into the throw. Shows a clean transfer and arm action is in sync with the lower half, looks like there is plenty more to come but works very well now with present strength. In the infield, his footwork looked better moving side to side with some body control to understand but good range here as well. A bit of a late glove showing and delayed first step. He plays taller working on top of some plays. Hands work well and the strong arm translates smoothly to the position as well. Also pitched, the right hander was up to a firm 76 mph fastball and flashed a good looking breaking ball with 11/5 shape and great late fall action. He works exclusively out the stretch, showing a medium leg lift with quiet hands. Has some intent with the lower half, he gets good extension to the plate and works down hill well. Occasional leaking the frontside trying to rip the FB, he can leave the arm hanging but produces a lot of arm side life to his pitch arsenal. Plenty of upside on the mound to roll with. Right handed hitter, starts in an even stance and high hand set, does a good job getting a full swing across and got some barrels out front, will compliment his swing as he puts some pieces together. Does not have a timing mechanism established, there is good carry when he connects with the ball but often mistimes contact. He can pull the frontside off some losing the barrel and showing a linear path to ball. Athletic young man should not have a problem tightening up the mechanics and syncing up the operation as he progresses.
