2023 Iowa Blitz Fastpitch Combine
Offense- Left handed hitter who is a true gap to gap contact hitter. Overall has a mechanically sound swing. Does need to work to dig into her power source to generate more pop, getting her top and bottom halves connected and firing with more violence. Solid base with some good potential.
The middle infielder showcased solid glovework and quick feet. She has the ability to make plays and will only get better as she gains more experience and matures.
Pitching- Right handed pitcher who throws a drop-ball and change-up. She uses her drop ball as her fastball, speed is in the high 40’s to 50. Motion is decent but needs to continue to work to generate more power. She did well to keep her drop ball down in the zone. Change-up was a push/knuckle change. The change-up was finishing up in the zone and she slowed her motion before release.
