Ellias Rubio is a 2022 OF/3B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Antioch, CA who attends De La Salle. Medium frame with a lean and projectable build. Ran a 7.20 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows sound footwork moving around the outfield, works behind the ball well and funnels it cleanly while showing accurate throws to bags with some carry. Righthanded hitter, sets up open and strides wide in his process; generates excellent bat speed with very good whip to the barrel through the zone. Uses his strength well and works to all parts of the field with consistently well-struck contact. Projects well on both sides of the ball. Good student. Named to 2021 March Northern California Workout Camp Top Prospect List.
