KC Fall Softball Scouting Combine Morning Session
Madison Dudok is a 5'6, class of 2026 LHP/1B from Blue Springs, MO who attends Blue Springs South HS. Madison is a strong up and coming player who has a solid fundamental foundation that is certain to assist her in growing her game over the course of the next few years. She ran a 3.82 20-yard dash with a 1.31 5-yard split. A primary LHP, Madison is a younger player with a mature presence in everything she does. She carries herself like a veteran and her stuff plays up right now. She is , without question, a power pitcher. Madison is a big strider with a longer arm action. She has a big arm circle that helps her generate some plus spin when she incorporates her solidly strong lower half. She has five pitches that are currently advanced and should certainly improve with added experience and strength. Her fastball shows both arm-side run/bore and sink and is probably not a very comfortable AB for LHH. She shows plus command and control especially considering her youth. Madison's change is solid and her arm action helps with deception. CH is a big spinner with a heavy drop component late. Her curve is hard breaker that she can ably work to both sides of the plate. CB has plus command and sharp action. Rise is not a big jumper (yet!). It shows short and late action and she works it to the rivers. Like a veteran pitcher, which she isn't quite yet, she never threw rise to heart of plate. A great skill at an early stage. This pitch has the most room to improve and it most assuredly will. Her drop is mature offering that is very heavy. DR is a tight spinner that shows pronounced depth at the dish. Big - BIG - upside potential here. High ceiling - big school potential! Madison also took a turn at 1B and although this is not her primary spot, she showed promising fundamental ability. She positions routinely and her glovework is sound. She transitions easily and her 53-mph throws around the diamond are routinely accurate. At the dish, this LHH has a solid feel for the short game and is a sound bunter. Her emerging offensive game is all dependent on timing. When on time and on plane, she contacts the ball well. Solid offensive foundation. Madison shows certain projectable ability, especially in the circle. Like many younger players her future is contingent on her attention to detail and her desire to get stronger. Her apparent positive attitude and body language makes is obvious that softball is important to her. With continued work at and with her craft, Madison's ceiling is very high. Big, bright future!
