2027 Top Prospects

Connor Ackerman  RHP - 2027 - East Meadow, NY

Ackerman was one of the more physically advanced prospects of the event, towering at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds. He used the frame effectively on both sides of the field, topping out at 82 mph from the OF and 81 mph on the mound with repeatable actions at both spots. Offensively, he displayed a pull side approach with intent to impact the baseball out in front, posting an exit velo of 87 mph.

Alfonso Terrana  3B - 2027 - Oyster Bay, NY

Terrana showed off the pure power potential both during BP and in game, flashing the ability to impact the baseball with authority to both gaps when timed up successfully. Posted an exit velo of 82 mph. Defensively, he moved well in the IF with projectable glove actions, topping out at 82 mph across the diamond.

Hunter Kass  3B - 2027 - Plainview, NY

Kass impressed on both sides of the baseball. The 5-foot-9 right-handed hitter created good separation and easy leverage through the zone, consistently impacting baseballs with authority during batting practice. He posted an exit velocity of 81 mph. Kass also showcased smooth glove actions with an accurate arm in the dirt, putting together a clean round of defensive drills while recording arm strength up to 74 mph. He also ran a 7.63 sixty-yard dash.


2028 Top Prospects

Romeo Rivas  C - 2028 - Westhampton Beach, NY

Rivas showcased his arm strength during the defensive portion of the workout, running it up to 85 mph across the diamond. Behind the dish, he was quick and smooth while getting out of the crouch. The 5-foot-7 catcher delivered accurate throws to the bag while recording arm strength up to 75 mph with a pop time of 2.10 sec. Rivas also put together a consistently loud round of batting practice and posted an exit velocity of 79 mph.

Aidan Devane  SS - 2028 - Sayville, NY

Devane put together impressive performances both on the mound and in the infield. The 6-foot shortstop worked through the baseball with sound glove actions and delivered accurate throws across the diamond. On the mound, the right-hander displayed impressive control of his arsenal while making quick work of opposing hitters. He landed his fastball on both sides of the plate, inducing several swings and misses while running it up to 73 mph. Devane also posted an exit velocity of 78 mph.


2029 Top Prospects

Andrew Edwards  OF - 2029 - Lynbrook, NY

Edwards was consistently on the barrel during batting practice and live action, where he found the gap for an extra-base hit in nearly every at-bat. He showcased a mature approach in the box with advanced control of the barrel in and around the strike zone. Edwards put his developing power tool on display, leveraging multiple baseballs into the alleyways. He also put together a smooth defensive workout while recording arm strength up to 75 mph from the outfield.

Chase Link  C - 2029 - Duncansville, PA

Link produced consistently loud contact from gap to gap during batting practice and added multiple extra-base hits during live action. He has a nifty ability to manipulate the barrel throughout the strike zone while maintaining leverage to all fields. Behind the dish, Link delivered quick and accurate throws to the bag, recording arm strength up to 70 mph with a pop time of 2.17 sec. He also ran a 7.76 sixty-yard dash.
