Nate Comer is a 2027 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Locust Grove, GA who attends Locust Grove. Long and lanky athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow stance with a nigh hand load, has a loose and easy swing and his hands work well, tends to be late getting the barrel out at times, best contact was to the opposite field gap, bat speed and ability to impact the ball will continue to improve as he gets stronger. 7.04 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well side to side and especially to his left, arm works well and made accurate throws, plays under control. Also worked out in the outfield with similar athletic actions and arm strength. Graded out higher at this event as a pitcher. Has a short and quick arm action from a compact rhythmic delivery. Fastball was up to 84 mph with very good arm side running life. Got similar hard life on a firm change up. Curveball had some sweeping shape and should pair well with his live FB/Chg combination. Good student.
