16u BCS Scout Notes: Days 3-4

Porter Trees (2025, Boynton Beach, Fla.) put together a masterful performance for Diamond Code Baseball 2025 on Monday. He’s a medium-framed right-handed pitcher who was able to put together a dominant outing. He threw 7.0 innings for his team, allowing 5 hits, walking zero, and striking out 11 opposing hitters en route to the complete-game shutout. Trees throws from a three-quarters arm slot. His fastball worked up to 80 mph and held the upper-70s with good command with some arm-side life to it. He flashed a curveball with a bigger & slurvy break to it as well, working the mid-60s. Showed the occasional fading changeup, mixing all three pitches well to fool the opposition.
