2023 High School All State Select Championship (2026-2027 Grads)
Brody Vogel is a 2027 SS/MIF, OF with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Viera, FL who attends Viera. Features a smaller lean frame that showed some positional athleticism. Ran a 7.46 60-yd dash. In the OF, exhibited solid actions. Relaxed approach to the baseball but maintains momentum throughout reception. Fields it off to the side of the front foot with a clean shuffle and quick gather. Arm worked long and loose in the action getting off higher arcing throws with one-hop accuracy up to 81 mph. In the INF, showed quality footwork that allows him to move well laterally with just avg. quickness. Arm showed similar length/strength as the OF and was accurate across. Fundamental glovework fielding it clean to both sides. At the plate, he sits in a medium base with an open stance. Toe tap trigger where his hands take back and gets into a slight arm bar at times. Flashed some twitch, showing above avg. hand/bat speed for his level working the barrel on a flatter path. Some slight disconnection at times but showed nice ability to backspin the baseball well to the pullside. Some nice in-game results as well barreling a couple singles.
