Jackson Karn is a 2025 RHP/3B, SS with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Minneapolis, MN who attends Washburn. Recorded a 7.21 second sixty-yard dash time. High-waisted and taller frame. Right-handed pitcher works from a quicker leg lift up above the belt before working down the slope. Works from a longer takeaway through the back with some length to the arm circle. The fastball (2153 RPM) was 79-81 with some arm-side run and some sink to it. Worked it on the arm-side third of the zone. The upper-60s curveball (1756 RPM) had some 12-6 shape to it. Gets over the top of it a bit and creates some bite. Secondary infielder with solid lateral range and moved well up the middle with accuracy to first from a higher three- quarter arm slot. Right-handed hitter starts from a wide base and a straight line stance with low hands and a low back elbow, utilizes a small leg lift. Rotational swing that stays compact and through the baseball with some strength and juice in the swing. Intriguing player with good upside. Great student.
