Ben Coffman is a 2027 C/3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Zionsville, IN who attends Zionsville Community. Primary catcher with a medium sized frame and athletic build. Sidestep setup. Pops out of the crouch well but doesn't gain much ground. Transfer and release get slow at times pausing at the top half of the release. Made throws with decent accuracy. Ran a 7.27 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base. Uses a small leg lift and stride for timing and weight transfer. has a nice level swing and can impact it hard to right-center. Hands dip into load and get a little twitchy at times. Gets into lower half well and showed some bat speed. Excellent student. Named to the TP List.
