Ty Shapton is a 2025 MIF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Ingersoll, ON. Medium frame with compact, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.67 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with athletic set, consistent hands with clean launch and good plane, consistently out front with barrel and directs it accurately, consistent line drives to all fields, projects well with the bat as he continues to develop strength on his frame. Worked out in the infield, tends to wait back on the ball, glove-tapper as he extends into funnel, developing range and twitch to release, clocked up to 76 mph on throws across.
