Cooper Tinkey is a 2025 RHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Ventura, CA who attends St. Bonaventure. Features a tall, slender build with room to add. Primary right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery into drop and drive mechanics. Slight crossfire landing adds some deception. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with a longer, clean arm action. Fastball sat 81-83 mph (2125 rpm) with some ride through the zone. Will create cut action at times. Slider at 69-73 mph (2795 rpm) showed plenty of horizontal movement with some depth as well. Can land the offering for strikes consistently and will throw it early in counts. Offering generates uncomfortable whiffs often. Flashed a changeup at 76-78 mph with slight fading action. Used the offering sparingly. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance into a hand hitch timing mechanism. Swings on a linear path with intent. Showed the ability to use the entire field. Still developing consistent body control throughout the swing. Very good student. Named to the West Coast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
