Bailey Gillespie (2017 RHP, Springville, AL) sat 80-83mph on his fastball today to go with his changeup at 72mph and his curveball at 68mph. Gillespie has sound pitching mechanics with and over the top arm slot. He has a good late breaking curveball, with a good straight change that he throws for strikes.
Noah Farmer (2017 RHP, Metropolis, IL) was sitting 82-84mph this afternoon with his fastball to go with a slider at 76mph and his changeup at 75mph. Farmer does a good job of mixing his pitches for strikes and throws all 3 pitches for strikes.
Nick Clarno (2017 C, Grayson, GA) went 2-3 in the game for the Vegas Gold team including a double. Clarno has a smooth quick swing with a gap to gap pop.
Gage White (2016 C, Randleman, NC) had a triple in the game for the Red team. White has strong hands with a quick bat through the zone.

Chase Walter (2016 RHP, Peachtree City, GA) sat 84-87mph on his fastball today topping out at 89mph to go along with his curveball at 74mph and his slider at 77mph. Walter has a quick arm with a good downhill plane and his slider gets swings and misses.
Tyler Esplin (2017 3B, Lake Bluff, IL) topped out at 87mph this morning mixing in a curveball at 63mph and his slider at 71mph. Esplin has good sinking action on his fastball with more velocity to come.
Jack Collins (2017 OF, Decatur, AL) had a couple of hits in the game for the Gold team including a double. Collins drives the ball where its pitched, and has good speed.
Logan McDowell (2016 RHP, Columbia, MS) was sitting 77-81mph with his fastball to go with his slider at 74mph and his changeup at 70mph. McDowell has a deceptive delivery with a low 3/4 arm slot and pitches to both sides of the plate.
Hayden Freeman (2016 3B/RHP, Hoover, AL) topped out at 84mph on his fastball with his curveball at 63mph and his changeup at 69mph. Freeman has a big projectable build with a sinking fastball and good command of his pitches.
Peyton Fannin (2017 C, Morehead, KY) had a couple of hits in the game for the Orange team. Fannin has a sound approach at the plate with a good swing.
David Lawson (2017 OF, Monticello, GA) also had 2 hits in the game for the Orange team. Lawson has a quick swing at the plate with a good first step out of the box.
Lael Lockhart (1B Jr., 2016, Friendswood) had 2 hits in the game including a double today for the Orange team. Lockhart has a sound approach at the plate with a good eye and drives the ball with consistent contact.
15- Col. Blue Vs. 19- Teal Highlights

Brett Vosik (2016 OF, Omaha, NE) topped out at 92mph this morning with his changeup at 80mph, a slider at 78mph and his curveball at 72mph. Vosik has a loose arm that works, generating arm side run on his fastball with good depth to his changeup that has late break. At the plate Vosik displays good bat speed with quick wrists and has lots of pop in his bat.
Reid Frizzell (2015 RHP, Marietta, GA) topped out at 83mph today on his fastball mixing in a slider at 75mph and his changeup at 75mph. Frizzell has a short quick arm action with an online delivery. He does a good job of keeping the ball down in the zone and does a good job of keeping hitters off balance.
Tyler Musselwhite (2016 MIF, Lumberton, NC) had 2 hits in the game for the Teal team. Musselwhite has a quick bat and makes consistent hard contact at the plate.
Mario Alston (2015 OF, Decatur, GA) collected a couple of hits for the Col. Blue team. Alston makes consistent contact with a sound approach at the plate. In the outfield he has a quick first step and does a good job of reading the ball of the bat.
Zach Perdue (2017 SS, Atlanta, GA) had a couple of hits in the game for Col. Blue as well. Perdue has a contact approach at the plate hitting the ball to all fields and is aggressive on the bases.
Jackson Boss (2016 RHP, Loganville, GA) sat 81-86mph on his fastball this morning to go with his curveball at 74mph. Boss has a loose arm that works well, stays tall on the backside and has good command of his pitches to both sides of the plate.

Kendrick Butler (2018 RHP, McComb, MS) had a couple of singles in the game for the White team. Butler has a good approach at the plate with sound hitting mechanics.
Kade Simons (2016 OF, Edmond, OK) singled twice in the game for the White team. Simons is a top of the order hitter with good speed down the line and makes good contact.
Tyler Kirkland (2017 LHP, Anderson, SC) had a couple of hits in the game including a double. Kirkland has an athletic build with pop in his bat and hits the ball to all fields.
Tyler Sylvester (2016 3B, Lithonia, GA) was sitting 82-85mph on his fastball with it topping out at 87mph today to go along with his curveball at 70mph, his slider at 73mph and his changeup at 68mph. Sylvester has an athletic build with a fastball that gets on hitters quick and a good sharp slider that has late break.
Sunshine Southeast Batting Practice Highlights

The following players stood out in their Batting Practice at the Sunshine Southeast Showcase.
Donald Hammond III (2016 C, Hampton, GA) is a physical presence in the batter's box. At a solid 6-foot-1, 205 pounds he was able consistently tap into his strength and backspin the baseball, showing power to the deepest part of the ballpark.
Michael Kranzburg (2017 1B, Winston-Salem, NC) is big, imposing hitter with easy strength. Kranzburg displayed good bat speed throughout his round of BP and has natural loft and carry to the power alleys.
Tyler Esplin (2017 3B, Lake Bluff, IL) has an aggressive approach and a showcased a violent, yet controlled swing. He really put a charge into some balls, especially to his pullside.
Cole Brannen (2017 SS, Elko, GA) is a good athlete and solid present strength in his 6-foot, 170 pound frame. He generates good bat speed which should only improve as he continues to mature and uses a level path to consistently make hard, line-drive contact.
Lael Lockhart (1B Jr., 2016, Friendswood) flashed very good potential from both sides of the plate. The athletic 6-foot-3, 195 pound 1B/LHP has good balance, an easy weight transfer into contact, good speed, and natural loft in his swing.
The ball really flew off of Hayden Freeman's (2016 3B, Hoover, AL) bat. The physical 6-foot-2, 212 pound infielder maintained good rhythm and used good bat speed and strength to wear out the left-center field gap.
Jake Hammond (2018 1B, Monroe, LA) doesn't look the part of a freshman. At 6-foot-3, 225 pounds Hammond has easy strength and above-average bat speed and he peppered the middle of the field with line drives.
Jacob Bassil (2016 SS, Brooklyn, NY) has a projectable frame 6-foot-2, 185 pound frame and currently offers an easy, loose swing with a level plane conducive to line drives.
Tyler Musselwhite (2016 MIF, Lumberton, NC) is a solid, compactly built athlete that continues to improve. He has efficient, repeatable hitting mechanics and surprising pop, especially to his pullside.
Erickie Godfrey (2016 1B, Atlanta, GA) has a loose stroke from the right side and has above-average bat speed to go along with his strong-bodied build.
Tyler Sylvester (2016 3B, Lithonia, GA) is another Georgia prep with solid bat speed and strength. He's able to let the ball travel deep and use his quick wrists to barrel balls with authority.
Bryant Jacox Jr (2016 OF, Baskerville, VA) still needs to add some more strength to his 5-foot-10, 145 pound frame, but he has some quick twitch athleticism and displayed a nice, loose swing with pretty consistent feel for the barrel.
Nathan Anthes (2016 C, Marietta, GA) has solid hitting tools and mechanics, with a good, balanced weight transfer and good bat speed and acceleration through contact.
Jeffrey Omohundro (2016 SS, Dothan, AL) is still developing and has a solid, yet projectable 6-foot, 180 pound frame. He flashed some looseness in his swing and the ability to get extended and create backspin.

Tyler Musselwhite (2016 MIF, Lumberton, NC) topped out at 87mph on his fastball to go with his curveball at 73mph, his slider at 76mph and his changeup at 76mph. Musselwhite has a quick arm, with good break to his curveball.
Michael Guldberg (2017 SS, Marietta, GA) had 2 hits in the game for the Teal team. Guldberg does a good job of keeping his hands inside the ball with quick hands through the zone and a line drive swing plane.
Michael Cherwenka (2017 RHP, Dacula, GA) topped out at 85mph on his fastball with his slider at 75mph and his changeup at 75mph. Cherwenka has good command of his pitches and has good depth to his slider.
Blake Whiting (2016 RHP, Kennesaw, GA) was 83-85mph on his fastball to go along with his curveball at 76mph. Whiting showed good command of both his pitches with tight spin to his curveball.
Brady Moore (2018 OF, Parsons, TN) had 2 hits in the game for the Tx. Orange team. Moore has a patient approach at the plate working the count and making consistent contact.
Bill Clark (2016 OF, Williamson, GA) had a couple of hits in the game today including a triple. Clark displayed quick hands at the plate with a short compact swing.

Lael Lockhart (1B Jr., 2016, Friendswood) has his fastball sitting 86-88mph this afternoon to go with a curveball at 69mph, a slider at 74mph and his changeup at 77mph. Lockhart has an arm that works with life to his fastball and a good slider that misses bats.
Scott Castellanos (2015 2B, Kennesaw, GA) had 2 hits in the games for the Orange team including a Home Run. Castellanos has a quick swing with strong hands through the zone.
Noah Farmer (2017 RHP, Metropolis, IL) had 2 hits in the game for the Red team. Farmer has a good approach at the plate with good instincts on the bases.

Bryce O'Brien (2016 RHP, Woodstock, GA) topped out at 89mph on his fastball with it sitting at 83-87mph to go along with a curveball at 73mph and his changeup at 78mph. O'Brien has a clean easy arm action with good tempo on the mound, and a good feel for his off-speed pitches.
Jeffrey Omohundro (2016 SS, Dothan, AL) sat at 86-87mph on his fastball to go with his curveball at 70mph and a changeup at 70mph. Omohundro has a quick arm with arm side run to his fastball and good depth on his curveball. Had 2 doubles in game for the Col. Blue team. Omohundro has a quick swing at the plate and drives the ball to the gap.
Justin Feliciano (2016 C, Marietta, GA) had 2 hits in the game for the Col. Blue team today. Feliciano had quick hands at the plate with a short compact swing and hits the ball to all fields.
Jonah Crocker (2016 RHP, Lula, GA) sat 80-83mph on his fastball to go along with his curveball at 70mph and his changeup at 70mph. Crocker has good arm side run on his fastball mixing his pitches well and keeps the ball down in zone.
