2013 Top Prospects

Kyle Roy - 3B - 2013 - Yucaipa, CA
Kyle Roy – 3B/RHP – 2013 – Yucaipa, CA-Hasa strong build, fluid infield actions with quick transfer and release with aloose arm action across diamond, showed arm strength off mound with hisfastball up to 85, sitting comfortably in the 83-85 range, also showed good rawpower at plate.


2014 Top Prospects

Nick Allman - OF - 2014 - San Ramon, CA
Nick Allman – OF – 2014 – California HS – San Ramon, CA – Allman ran a 7.40 in the sixty and threw 86 MPH from the outfield in the workout. Showed good bat speed and power in BP hitting a home run and making solid contact. The ball jumps and he has good hitting tools.

Quinn Brodey - LHP - 2014 - Los Angeles, CA
Quinn Brodey – LHP – 2014 – Loyola HS – Los Angeles, CA – Pitched at 84-88 MPH with a quick arm action. Pitched downhill well and worked both sides of the plate. Also threw a curve ball at 72 MPH with some depth. Brodey also showed good hitting tools at the plate with bat speed and a smooth stroke. Knocked multiple balls over the fence in BP. Also runs well and covers a lot of ground in the OF.

Austin Chauvin - 3B - 2014 - San Ramon, CA
Austin Chauvin – 3B – 2014 – California HS – San Ramon, CA – Chauvon threw 84 MPH across the infield and showed solid defensive actions. He showed good bat speed and showed some raw power as well. His bat stays in the zone a long time and he has an aggressive approach.

Stephen Dubb - SS - 2014 - Pasadena, CA
Stephen Dubb – IF – 2014 – Loyola HS – Pasadena, CA – Dubb threw 82 MPH across the infield and showed good defensive actions. He hit the first pitch he saw in BP out of the ball park and showed pop. Dubb has hitting tools with some projection.

Andrew Eppenbach - RHP - 2014 - Claremont, CA
Andrew Eppenbach – RHP – 2014 – Bishop Amat HS – Claremont, CA – Pitched at 83-86 MPH with his fastball with a short quick arm action. Throws a sweeping 11/5 curveball that was sharp at times. Also throws a change up at 76 MPH with good run to it. Also showed good power with the bat including smoking multiple extra base hits in the game including a long HR.

Eric Flores - RHP - 2014 - Glendora, CA
Eric Flores – RHP – 2014 – Glendora HS – Glendora, CA – Pitched at 84-87 MPH with his fastball long loose arm action. He pitches to both sides of the plate and has projectable velocity. Also interesting with the bat and shows power potential.

Aaron Fuller - OF - 2014 - Chicago, IL
Aaron Fuller – OF – 2014 – St. Rita of Cascia HS – Chicago, IL – Fuller ran a 7.00 and threw 84 MPH from the outfield. He made some plays in game defensively and had good jumps on in the outfield. Fuller has bat speed and is strong at the contact point and is short to the ball.

Kiko Garcia - RHP - 2014 - Chula Vista, CA
Kiko Garcia –RHP – 2014 – St. Augustine Academy – Chula Vista, CA – Pitched at 86-88 MPH with his fastball with a short quick arm action. He throws an 11/5 curve ball with good bite and depth and has feel for it.

Cheynne Giles - OF - 2014 - San Diego, CA
Cheynne Giles – OF – 2014 – Westview HS – San Diego, CA – Giles ran a 7.27 and threw 81 MPH from the outfield. His best tool is the bat as he has bat speed with quick hands. Giles swings on a line drive path and showed projectable hitting tools and pop.

Michael Gomez - RHP - 2014 - Upland, CA
Michael Gomez – RHP – 2014 – Upland HS – Upland, CA – Pitched at 85-88 MPH with his fastball with a clean arm action and arm speed. He throws a heavy fastball and also throws a sharp slider at 78 MPH.

Garrett Gutierrez - OF - 2014 - Garden Grove, CA
Garrett Gutierrez – OF – 2014 – Orange County Lutheran HS – Garden Grove, CA – Gutierrez ran a 7.10 and threw 83 MPH from the outfield. He swings the bat well and has leverage at contact. Gutierrez has some whip in his swing and showed some pop and hitting tools.

Scott Hurst - OF - 2014 - Glendora, CA
Scott Hurst – OF – 2014 – Bishop Amat HS – Glendora, CA – Showed excellent arm strength and accuracy in the workout throwing 96 MPH from the outfield. He also showed an advanced approach at the plate with good bat speed and pop.

Brett Little - C - 2014 - Sacramento, CA
Brett Little – C – 2014 – Jesuit HS – Sacramento, CA – Little showed good hitting tools in BP and swings on a line drive plane. He swung the bat well in games making good contact and showing bat speed.

Steven Mendoza - C - 2014 - West Covina, CA
Steven Mendoza – C/RHP – 2014 – South Hills HS – West Covina, CA – Mendoza threw the ball 79 MPH and popped a 1.92 in the workout. He has a balanced swing with line drive gap to gap pop. Mendoza has good hitting tools to develop. He also pitched at 84-86 MPH with some projection.

Josh Morgan - SS - 2014 - Corona, CA
Josh Morgan – MIF – 2014 – Orange Lutheran HS – Corona, CA – Morgan ran a 7.14 and threw 84 MPH in the workout. He showed high level defensive tools and actions with carry on his throws as well. At the plate he has projectable hitting tools with bat speed and projectable pop. Very good player.

Elias Orona - OF - 2014 - West Covina, CA
Elias Orona – OF – 2015 – San Dimas HS – West Covina, CA – Orona ran a 6.96 and threw 84 MPH from the outfield. He’s an athletic player with a high motor. Orona has loose hands at the plate with bat speed. He’s a solid all around player who plays hard.

Joseph Quire - 1B - 2014 - La Verne, CA
Joseph Quire – RHP – 2014 – Bonita HS – La Verne, CA – Quire pitched at 84-87 MPH with his fastball from a long loose arm action. He gets good extension out front with projectable velocity. He gets hard spin on his 12/6 curveball which flashes good bite.

Tyler Radcliffe - RHP - 2014 - Long Beach, CA
Tyler Radcliffe – RHP – 2014 –Long Beach Wilson HS – Long Beach, CA – Pitched at 82-85 MPH with his fastball from a short quick arm action. He pitches downhill and works down in the zone well. Also flashed a curveball that showed promise.

Nick Reeser - 1B - 2014 - Lakewood, CA
Nick Reeser – 1B – 2014 – Lakewood HS – Lakewood, CA – Reeser swung the bat well showing loose quick hands with some pop. He has bat speed and is strong at the point of contact. Solid hitting tools.

Andrew Stoll - OF - 2014 - Fresno, CA
Andrew Stoll – OF – 2014 – Fresno HS – Fresno, CA – Stoll threw 84 MPH from the outfield with projectable arm strength. He is short to the baseball and has leverage at contact. Stoll has bat speed and projectable hitting tools with pop.

Dustin Trisler - RHP - 2014 - Agoura, CA
Dustin Trisler – OF – 2014 – Chaminade College Preparatory HS – Agoura, CA – Performed well in the workout running a 6.98 and throwing 83 MPH from the outfield. Also showed bat speed with some pop in the BP session.

Grant Wilhelm - RHP - 2014 - Laguna Beach, CA
Grant Wilhelm – RHP – 2014 – Laguna Beach HS – Laguna Beach, CA – Wilhelm pitched at 84-87 MPH with his fastball with a quick arm action. He throws a quality slider at 78 MPH with some depth to it. He has some deception to his delivery with projectable stuff. Also showed very good power potential in BP.

Marcus Wilson - OF - 2014 - Los Angeles, CA
Marcus Wilson – OF – 2014 – Hamilton HS – Los Angeles, CA – Wilson ran an impressive 6.51 and threw 88 MPH from the outfield. He has high level tools across the board. Wilson has big time raw power with easy bat speed and juice. Athletic player who should be followed very closely


2015 Top Prospects

Jonathan Buckley - 3B - 2015 - Chino, CA
Jonathan Buckley – 3B – 2015 – Ruben S. Ayala HS – Chino, CA – Buckley threw 81 MPH from the outfield and across the infield and showed solid actions from both. He has bat speed and projectable power.

Blake Burton - 3B - 2015 - San Juan Capistrano, CA
Blake Burton – 3B – 2015 – Jserra Catholic HS – San Juan Capistrano, CA – Burton swung the bat well all weekend showing power as he hit a home run in game. He has a projectable build and projectable hitting tools.

Sam Cohen - C - 2015 - Coto de Caza, CA
Sam Cohen – C – 2015 – Jserra Catholic HS – Coto de Caza, CA – Cohen threw it 77 MPH and popped a 1.94 in the workout. He’s got solid catch and throw tools with carry on his throws. He also showed bat speed at the plate.

Griffin Mazur - C - 2015 - Moorpark, CA
Griffin Mazur – C – 2015 – Moorpark HS – Moorpark, CA – Mazur showed good arm strength in the workout throwing it 77 MPH down to 2B. He has good bat speed at the plate and showed strength at contact. He’s got some hitting tools and some pop.

Shane Nobiensky - C - 2015 - El Cajon, CA
Shane Nobiensky – C - 2015 – Helix Charter HS – La Mesa, CA – Nobiensky threw 81 MPH and popped a 1.94 in the workout. He has good catch and throw tools with good carry and online throws. He’s a switch hitter at the plate with better bat speed and pop from the right side.

Jake Ortega - C - 2015 - Mission Viejo, CA
Jake Ortega – C – 2015 – Capistrano Valley HS – Mission Viejo, CA – Ortega threw 77 MPH and popped a 1.91 in the workout. He has good catch and throw tools and made online accurate throws. He showed some bat speed at the plate and looks to pull.

Kyle Robeniol - LHP - 2015 - Alta Loma, CA
Kyle Robeniol – LHP – 2015 – Los Osos HS – Alta Loma, CA – Pitched at 84-86 MPH with his fastball with a short quick arm action. Threw a sharp 1/7 curveball and showed some feel for it. Interesting young LHP.

Ben Skinner - OF - 2015 - Moraga, CA
Ben Skinner – MIF – 2015 – Campolindo HS – Moraga, CA – Skinner ran a 6.94 and threw 77 across the infield. He has a short quick swing with a good path to the baseball. Skinner has good hitting tools with a line drive approach. Aggressive player who plays hard.

Henry Stellwagen - OF - 2015 - Pasadena, CA
Henry Stellwagen – OF – 2015 – Loyola HS – Pasadena, CA – Stellwagen ran a 6.92 and threw 88 MPH from the outfield. He’s an athletic player with good defensive actions and projectable arm strength. He swung the bat well showing quick hands and a line drive approach. Good hitting tools with upside.

James Dawson Terrell III - OF - 2015 - Fairfield, CA
James Dawson Terrell III – OF – 2015 – St. Patrick-St. Vincent HS – Fairfield, CA – Terrell III ran a 6.97 and threw 79 MPH from the outfield. He showed good hand quickness at the plate with bat speed. Terrell is an athletic player who got good jumps in the outfield with projectable tools.


2016 Top Prospects

Adam Jameson Garcia - RHP - 2016 - Henderson, NV
Adam Jameson Garcia – RHP – 2016 – Coronado HS – Henderson, NV – Pitched at 80-82 MPH with his fastball from a long loose arm action. He’s got a young projectable build with projectable velocity. He throws a change up with sink and a big breaking 12/6 curve ball. Interesting young follow.

Alex Gomez - OF - 2016 - Inglewood, CA
Alex Gomez – OF – 2016 – St John Bosco HS – Inglewood, CA – Gomez ran a 7.08 and threw 79 MPH from the outfield. He showed good athleticism in the outfield and has projectable defensive tools. Gomez swings on a line drive plane and has quick hands to the ball. Interesting young player.

John (Jack) McCarthy - OF - 2016 - San Juan Capistrano, CA
John (Jack) McCarthy – MIF – 2016 – San Juan HS – San Juan Capistrano, CA – McCarthy ran a 7.10 and threw 80 MPH from the outfield. His tools presently project best in the outfield. At the plate he has a flat bat path to the baseball and showed good young hitting tools to develop.

Will Proctor - SS - 2016 - Manhattan Beach, CA
Will Proctor – SS/RHP – 2016 – Loyola HS – Manhattan Beach, CA – Proctor threw 82 MPH across the infield and showed solid defensive actions. He has good young hitting tools to develop with projectable bat speed and pop. Proctor also pitched at 81-84 MPH with projectable velocity. Interesting young two-way player.

Josh Stephen - OF - 2016 - Chino Hills, CA
Josh Stephen – OF – 2016 – Mater Dei HS – Chino Hills, CA – Stephen ran a 7.16 and threw 78 MPH from the outfield. He is short to the baseball at the plate with good raw hitting tools. He’s got projectable bat speed and pop.
