Giovon Soto
RHP - 2016 - Miami, FL
Florida International
Soto is a very versatile athlete who finished close to the top of the leader boards at multiple positions defensively and took one of the better batting practices of the event as well.
Paul Benitez
SS - 2016 - Orlando, FL
University of Arkansas-Little Rock
Benitez' whippy right handed bat speed really stood out in the games, as he drove the ball hard to the alley's. He's very athletic with nice physical projection.
Michael Harkcom
3B - 2016 - Debary, FL
Florida International
Harkcom is present strong with lots of right handed bat speed. He also has a strong arm at third base and should end up being a solid defender at that position.
Will Sarsen
C - 2016 - Fleming Island, FL
Army
Sarsen is a very polished defensive catcher for his age and stands out for his quickness and athleticism behind the plate. He swings a good right handed bat, too.
Juan Francisco Teixeira
OF - 2016 - Cooper City, FL
Florida International/ASA
Tiexeira has a nice loose athleticism that plays well on defense in the outfield and also translates well into his right handed swing.
Daniel Rivero
RHP - 2016 - Davie, FL
Miami
Rivero has a slender, projectable young build and a fastball that has been topping out in the mid-80's all summer, including here in Fort Myers.
Sam Marlatt
OF - 2016 - Ormond Beach, FL
Florida Southwestern State College
Marlatt needs to get stronger but he graded out the highest of any outfielder at the showcase defensively and has a loose right handed swing that projects.
Michael Blanco
1B - 2016 - Miami Lakes, FL
Barry
Blanco is a bat-first athlete with lots of power in his 6-foot-4, 190 pound build, especially if he learns to hit taller at the plate and use all his leverage and strength.
Michael Rothenberg
C - 2017 - Boca Raton, FL
Duke
Rothenberg is a 6-foot-3, 190 pound switch-hitting catcher, which says plenty right there. His defensive tools were polished for a '17 and his right handed swing was especially good at the plate.
Brice Armistead
LHP - 2017 - Katy, TX
Blinn College
Armistead was up to 83 mph from the left side but might be a better position prospect. He took the best BP of any Underclass hitter and hit well in games as well.
Mason Doolittle
C - 2017 - Jupiter, FL
Appalachian State/Palm Beach State
Doolittle is another very young catcher with a projectable 6-foot-3 frame to build on. He has quick hands at the plate and projects lots of power.
Cole Brannen
OF - 2017 - Elko, GA
Georgia Southern
Brannen stood out for his quickness and athleticism defensively, while his left handed swing is just some strength away from really being able to drive the ball.
