Projection is the big word for Phil who stands at 6'7” and showed a fastball up to 87. His velocity projects well and he gets good life on his fastball, while also showing a solid feel for an 11-5 curveball.


2010 Top Prospects

Terrell Joyce  3B - 2010 - Newport News, VA

Terrell is one of the most impressive power hitting prospects in the country. He has outstanding bat speed and can drive the ball out of any part of the park with ease.

Patrick Maronde  RHP - 2010 - Lexington, KY
Coastal Carolina

A talented two-way prospect Patrick has the chance to be an impact player on the mound and in the outfield. Patrick has a very projectable build at 6'4”, 190 pounds and touched 88 with his fastball complimented by a tight 11-5 curveball. Offensively Patrick has good raw hitting tools to work with and 6.97 sixty speed.

Alex Embler  RHP - 2010 - Trinity, NC
Pfeiffer University

A projectable 2010 grad, Alex sat in the 85-87 range with his fastball. Alex gets a good downhill plane on his pitches and a shows a feel for an 11-5 curveball.

Evan Geist  LHP - 2010 - Roswell, GA
Florida State

Evan has a loose and easy arm action and touched 87 with his fastball. He compliments his fastball with a solid 12-6 curveball and he shows a good feel for pitching.

Ben Fultz  OF - 2010 - Greensboro, NC

The bat sticks out for Fultz, who has a solid hitting approach and drives the ball hard consistently. Ben ran a 6.81 sixty and he has the hitting tools to contribute early in his college career.

A solid player across the board, Eric has the ability to project at a number of positions. He showed big arm strength in the outfield (88), while he also runs pretty well. (7.10) Eric is an aggressive hitter with good bat speed and the ball comes off the bat well.

Christopher was the top catching prospect at the event, as he showed advanced tools with a very quick release. He posted a 1.78 pop time, while also showing the hitting tools needed to play at the next level.

A solid all-around prospect, Rob does everything pretty well on the field. He has a solid hitting approach complimented by a 6.95 sixty speed. Defensively, Rob has sound infield actions with a strong arm that could project at a number of different positions.

A 2011 grad, Luke is a solid all-around player that does everything fairly well. His speed (7.10) and arm strength (86) play well in the outfield, while his hitting tools also project well.
