Osmín Sanchez (2028, Port Saint Lucie, FL) showed a great blend of bat speed and barrel feel as he muscled a ball deep to the pull-side gap. The loud piece of contact resulted in a double – the first hit of the game. In his second at bat, he smoked another one for an RBI Double. In his third at bat, he showed his all-fields ability as he launched a triple to the opposite-field wall.
Brandon LeBouef (2029, Apopka, FL) did damage with two strikes, crushing an extra-base hit over the right fielder’s head. He hustled well for an RBI Double. Later in the game, he went to the opposite field again and found open grass for his second double.
Matthew Perazza (2028, Naples, FL) has a physical 6-foot-1 frame and engaged his strong lower half well to barrel a ball deep to the pull side. He quickly rounded the bases for a stand-up triple.
Tyler Puhr (2028, Winter Garden, FL) continued his strong showing on Sunday, and this time from the batter box. He engaged his plus physicality to knock two well-struck singles and accumulate an RBI.
Talbot Collie II (2028, Apopka, FL) continued to swing a hot bat on Sunday. He found the barrel multiple times as he picked up singles in his first two at bats respectively. In his third at bat, he annihilated a pitch and sent it to the pull-side wall for an RBI Triple.
Luis Hernandez (2029, Saint Cloud, FL) jumped on the first pitch of an at bat and sent a missile screaming over the left fielder’s head. He was in standing-up with a double, and then showed off the wheels as he swiped third base.
Brogen Stephens (2028, Hahira, GA) showed promising stuff on the mound on Sunday. The Southpaw dialed the fastball up to 75 mph and mixed in a whiff-inducing curveball.
Gilberto Perez (2027, Ponce, PR) made consistent contact on Sunday. He ripped an RBI Single the other way in his first at bat and then crushed an RBI Double to the pull side later in the game.
Bastian Dominguez (2029, Port Saint Lucie, FL) notched two singles on Sunday. He quickly rotated the hands to make solid contact and knock in runs.
Luis Mijares (2028, Miami Beach, FL) got into one, ripping a triple deep to the pull side. In the field, he showed a strong arm from the hole at shortstop, quickly transferring and releasing.
