Samuel Lopez is a 2026 MIF/C with an athletic 5-9 160 lb. frame from Redondo Beach, CA who attends Redondo Union High School. Started off the event clocking a 7.41 60-yard dash. A primary middle infielder that worked behind the plate as well. At the plate, he showed the ability to barrel up the baseball with a short direct path to contact. Starts with low hands but get them up and on time before firing. On defense Lopez used the proper glove/feet techniques, worked through the baseball and delivered accurate throws across the diamond. Showed that there is work to do do behind the plate with regards to the skill set. Excellent student
