JUCO Top 25: April 24

Another week, another new number 1. The Cavaliers have been on a torrid stretch in a difficult Midwest Juco landscape. In discussion this week we started looking at our favorites to win it all. The three teams that came to the front of our minds were Central Arizona, Weatherford, and Northwest Florida. All in all, probably the 3 best rosters in the country at this level. All three of which lie inside this 3rd week of April rendition of our Top 25.

In other news, East Central brought their brooms to Poplarville in their series sweep of Pearl River. The Warriors jump all the way up to number 13 in the nation and the nation’s top division 2 squad.

Overall, the chalk held for the most part this week with almost all of our previous top 25 hanging out for another week. But, we are happy to welcome back perennially blue blood San Jac as well as a debut appearance for Indian River. Should be a fun couple weeks down the stretch as we head into region tournaments.

For the first time in a little over a month, we have a new number 1.

Another week down as we head towards May and conference tournaments. The field of the Top 25 remained fairly status quo with one new addition, the Cowley Tigers, as they rejoin the list at No. 24.
