Hector Garcia is a 2025 C/1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Medium build with good present strength. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand load, easy and fluid swing with bat speed and extension through contact, impacts the ball hard to mid field and the pull side, showed his power well in the games. 7.80 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has soft hands receiving the ball, receives with one knee down, has been well coached and has consistent footwork and a clean exchange, solid arm strength, can continue to work on his foot and lower half quickness. Solid all around player with the chance to hit. Excellent student.
