2022 Summer Northeast Showcase (Wed-Thurs)
Nick Andersen is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-3 191 lb. frame from Framingham, MA who attends Belmont Hill. Andersen works from a long athletically built frame with lower half strength present. From his primary OF spot, he displayed an aggressive approach to work through the baseball and carry momentum downhill ultimately topping out at 85 mph. The arm action was full and loose with accuracy continuing to refine. On the mound, the righty was quick to the plate with evident arm speed, recording outs efficiently with additional velocity projection in the future. Offensively, Andersen started from a balanced slightly open stance with a compact bat path that generated consistent impact to the pull side of the field. He flashed quickness to the hands with clear power in the stroke, posting an exit velo of 91 mph. Ran an impressive 6.60 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
